ZemptThis IE Context Menu

If you are as big a fan of Zempt, the offline blog publishing tool, as I am, then you will love this. It adds a “ZemptThis” item to your Interent Explorer context-menu which functions like the bookmarklets function from Movable Type. Just select some text on a web page you want to link to your site, right click and select “ZemptThis.” Download and extract the zip file below, then right click on the ZemptThis.inf file and select Install.

» Download ZemptThis (10/24/2003, 3K zip file, version 1.0)

No problem! I’m just really excited about getting the new version … I know Bill and Adam are busy with real life, but still …

Of course, I know what it’s like being busy with real life — I have several software projects that I’m doing in my spare time, which seems to have evaporated over the last several weeks.

I can’t get this to install. When I try and follow the install instructions the .inf file just opens as a text file. What do I need to do to get it installed?

  5. Toby Simmons says:

Sorry for the delayed response, I didn’t get a notification that you had posted a comment (my mailer isn’t working correctly!) … anyway, you don’t double click the .inf file, you right click it and select (from the context menu that pops up) install.

See if that doesn’t work it out for you!

    Cheers,

    Toby
