For the home-school annual, Sadie had to provide a baby picture and a current picture. So, in the spirit of before-and-after shots, here she is:
I finally got them working. The links are looking different now on my site — instead of having links that look like https://www.simmonsconsulting.com/?p=204, they are more descriptive (search engine friendly), as in https://www.simmonsconsulting.com/2005/11/22/wordpress-permalinks-on-iis/. It’s a little thing, but I have been fussing with it for several months. It’s mostly due to this post, but I had to modify the php code a bit to work on my site.
I can share it if you are interested, it is a small fix.
I’m a weather junkie. Cool weather widgets on the Internet are like little jewels things to me (oooooo, shiny!) Using Google maps for finding weather conditions at surrounding weather stations is just a natural, for example, near Little Rock.
This morning when I tried to log into my Google Analytics site, I was immediately redirected to the regular Google site. I tried it with three different browsers, too. I wonder if they are having technical problems.
(updated) Well, it’s working swell this evening.
Oh, I forgot. I’m O.C.D.
