Got a frickin code in bye dose

I guess this year wouldn’t be complete unless I went ahead and caught a cold on top of everything else I’ve had. Now that I’ve done that, I think I’ve pretty much wrapped up all the ailments I should have this year.

Penny, Molly, Maggie and I all feel pretty rotten right now. It’s just a standard sore throat, coughing, runny nose cold thing. I don’t think any of use have the flu, though. Thankfully.

Funny thing is, I’ve noticed over the last couple of weeks that I’ve been kind of back to being very dizzy. It’s been quite a mess, but at least it hasn’t kept me from working. There have been a few times that I’ve just had to bounce off the walls a few times (I actually even fell once.)

The roaring in my right ear is continuing, especially at night and when I’m tired. It sounds like there is a plane flying overhead outside our house, but only in my right ear.

I’ve also noticed a dramatic worsening of my symptoms when I drink lots of caffeine, especially in coffee.

We switched to decaf completely a few weeks ago but the other day, while out shopping, I got a regular caramel machiatto from Star Bucks (in Barnes and Noble.) It was extremely good but it made me feel really dizzy and messed up. Turns out that puppy packs a double espresso punch (boy, I love espresso!)

Today was a pretty funky day, too. We went out doing a last bit of Christmas shopping and for most of the day, I was just kind of feeling like I was wondering around behind the little animals.

I am still getting that really freaky feeling every now and then that I’m falling over while just sitting still (I’m writing this on the laptop while sitting up in bed) — it’s kinda disturbing. I’ve also had a lot of pain in my legs and arms (and face even) which I suspect is the neuropathy.

Still, I don’t want to give the impression that I’m just miserable. It’s really not that bad at all. It’s just one of those things that you just have to handle. I know that this is really not that hard to deal with and that there are things that other folks are afflicted with that are much worse.

    Toby,

I’m having similar symptoms, except mine make me lie down. Of course, I’m dizzy then, too, there’s just not danger of falling.

Been doing this for over three years, and can’t get a handle on it. Just wondered if you have gotten any answers.
